Monolith is a free 3D Tetris game for Android, based on the Android SDK and 2001: A Space Oddisey's Monolith. The intent is to create a fun to play game, and familiarize with the rich API of the android platform.

Summary
This is a 3D tetris like game for the Android mobile phone platform. It is based on the SDK samples of the
Android SDK package. The intention is to create a fun to play game, and familiarize with the rich API of
the android platform.
The game uses openGL ES for the graphics. As well as the classic tetris-like gameplay.
The name derives from the fact that the matrix that the game is played in, looks a bit like a
monolith from the film "2001 a Space Odyssey".
This Tetris game currently supports the 0.9 beta sdk. That means that you can play a game, but there are various
gliches/bugs, like sound playing after you exit the game and so on. These will eventually be ironed out as we
approach the Android 1.0 release.
