Pocket Chess is a freeware classic Chess game created in 1996 by Scott Ludwig. The game now has a Deluxe version for Palm devices with Palm OS 3.5 and above. Can be port to Windows CE devices and Pocket PC.

Pocket Chess
Play chess against Pilot (8 levels of difficulty) or human opponent.
I created PocketChess v1.0 for Pilot 1000 in 1996. From there a very featured Palm version was created called
PocketChess Deluxe. It was also ported to Windows CE Palm-sized PC, Windows CE Handheld PC, PocketPC, EPOC based Psion 5,
EPOC based Revo, and the Royal daVinci. Scott Ludwig 
Pocket Chess Deluxe features a wide set of functionality including advanced features such as variations, full PGN
support, annotations, comments, a desktop PC based companion, a library of over 3000 games, PGN import / export and 2
way hotsync via Pocket Chess Companion, and many other features.
